- ➤ Avelo Airlines signed the first Airline Use and Lease Agreement with McKinney National Airport this week to prepare for air service from a new terminal under construction. The five-year deal + optional extension sets rates and is expected to create over 100 new jobs when flights begin in 2026. City of McKinney
- ➤ At a Dec. 16 City Council meeting, McKinney National Airport approved remaining funding and contracts to build a new passenger terminal and support facilities. The project is on track to complete the terminal later in 2026—enhancing service as it shifts to commercial use. City of McKinney
