Good morning, McKinney.

Major grocery and pharmacy chains in Texas will have adjusted hours on Thanksgiving Day, with stores like Albertsons, Central Market, CVS, Fiesta Mart, H-E-B, Joe V’s Smart Shop, Kroger, Sprouts, Tom Thumb, Whole Foods, and WinCo Foods scheduled to open at varying times.

Several retailers, including Aldi, Costco, Market Street, Sams, Target, Trader Joe's, Walgreens, and Walmart, will remain closed to prepare for the holiday.

Margaret Li, McKinney's housing and community development director, said the Point-in-Time count showed 213 homeless people—about 0.10% of the city's 224,043 residents.
