Good morning, McKinney.

The Brunch District will open its fourth location in Frisco by the end of 2025—owner Kevin Kim confirms that work on the 5199 Panther Creek Parkway storefront is progressing—and diners may soon enjoy its diverse breakfast and lunch menu.

McKinney officials approved a plan on September 23 that revises zoning and annexes a 136-acre site near Honey Creek—allowing development of over 500 single-family homes, cottage-style residences, and villas on up to 600 units.

The change supports continued growth in the popular 75071 area, which is predicted to welcome around 2,900 new residents this year.

In Week 5 of Texas high school football, area teams such as unbeaten Allen and top-ranked Southlake Carroll posted big wins as Allen shut out McKinney 62-0 and DeSoto and Cedar Hill improved after slow starts—Highland Park edged Tyler 70-66 in a close district matchup.
