  • McKinney Oktoberfest will take place downtown Sept. 26 to 28 and will offer authentic Bavarian food, music contests, and family fun. Presented by Tomes Auto Group, the free event will include bratwurst, carnival rides, and a keg tapping parade on Friday at 6:30 p.m. (shuttle rides are provided).  City of McKinney

GOVERNMENT NEWS

  • McKinney City Council passed a $942M budget that lowers taxes—allocates $327.7M for capital improvements and adds 27 staff—to support city services.  McKinney Courier-Gazette
