  • Kodiak Robotics is testing driverless truck technology that may bring 18-wheelers to Texas highways next year. The new system uses a single sensor pod on each side — a remote operator can control the truck when needed to address the driver shortage and improve safety.  FOX 4

  • The McKinney Public Library System will host the free McKinney Literary Fest at City Hall on Aug. 23—24 where over 40 local authors and illustrators will engage the community with readings and workshops. Keynote speakers include Pulitzer Prize jurist George Getschow on Saturday and author Lyndsey Lewellen on Sunday to share their insights on storytelling.  City of McKinney
