EDUCATION NEWS

  • New Texas education laws will affect McKinney students when classes begin next week as schools enforce a cell phone ban and change punishments for vape use and in-school suspensions. Every classroom must display the Ten Commandments from September—lawmaker Jared Patterson said the rule is meant to boost focus—and school boards may also choose to add a period for prayer.  FOX 4
