The report shows the area may soon drive regional economic power + experts credit more data centers, artificial intelligence, and skilled labor for the rise.

McKinney broke ground Friday on a $79 million passenger terminal at its National Airport - the project, which will initially serve 200,000 travelers and is set to be finished by late next year, aims to bring commercial flights to a long-used general aviation hub.
City leaders and business partners are working to attract low-cost carriers even as some neighbors express concerns over noise and traffic.
