  • A new study by the Texas Association of Business says Collin County will have strong growth from more people and smart technology by 2050. The report shows the area may soon drive regional economic power + experts credit more data centers, artificial intelligence, and skilled labor for the rise.  The Dallas Morning News

GOVERNMENT NEWS

  • McKinney broke ground Friday on a $79 million passenger terminal at its National Airport - the project, which will initially serve 200,000 travelers and is set to be finished by late next year, aims to bring commercial flights to a long-used general aviation hub. City leaders and business partners are working to attract low-cost carriers even as some neighbors express concerns over noise and traffic.  The Dallas Morning News
