  • The Texas Music Revolution Festival returns for its 29th year in downtown McKinney on June 6 and 7, with concerts on 20 stages at local venues. Headliners Dawes and Flatland Cavalry perform on Friday and Saturday while families enjoy an all-ages festival with ticket prices from $68.13 to $340.92 and free admission for children nine and under.  The Dallas Morning News

HEALTH NEWS

  • Texas health officials reported one new measles case linked to the West Texas outbreak on May 27, increasing the total to 729 cases with fewer than 10 currently infectious — nine additional measles cases not tied to the outbreak were reported in other counties.  FOX 4
  • Collin County officials warned McKinney residents who visited 24 Hour Fitness, Moviehouse & Eatery, Cubana Grille, or Market Street between May 19 and May 22 to monitor for fever, cough, and rash symptoms through June 12 — unvaccinated, pregnant, or immunocompromised individuals are advised to contact a healthcare provider immediately.  The Dallas Morning News
