Good morning, McKinney. Here's your local news at a glance for Friday, the 28th of March.

GOVERNMENT NEWS

  • Fairview town is in a stalemate with the LDS church over a temple that was first planned with a 174 foot spire but now comes with a 120 foot design and faces a vote by the Town Council. Mayor Lessner said the town may sue if the compromise does not protect the town’s country feel — many residents fear the temple will change Fairview’s look.  The Dallas Morning News
