- ➤ A Collin County man was arrested for capital murder after he admitted to accidentally shooting his pregnant girlfriend before 9 a.m. on North State Highway 78 in Blue Ridge—she was pronounced dead at the scene. FOX 4
GOVERNMENT NEWS
- ➤ A local leader from the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints sent a letter to the Fairview Town Council Monday asking them to reaffirm a compromise for a smaller temple with a 120-foot steeple instead of a 174-foot design (a deal reached in November). The church will sue on March 28 if the town does not confirm the plan (the new temple will be built next to the existing meetinghouse in a town of 11,000). The Dallas Morning News
